The Loft Cinema is a downtown, second-storey, soft-seat, boutique theatre with a focus on live music and arthouse film. We specialize in contemporary documentaries and independent and foreign language films, Our live concerts present exceptional professional musicians in an intimate setting. We have a stage, 20′ screen, digital cinema system and full PA. Our building is a beautiful, art-deco, 1922-vintage, former worship space.
The Loft Cinema is upstairs over Craft Food House at 201 Division St., Cobourg K9A 3P6 … just one block north of the Cobourg beach and marina and one block south of Cobourg’s main street, King St, also Highway 2.

The Loft is home to Les AMIS Chamber Music Concerts (a live classical music series featuring world-acclaimed musicians) and RearView Doc Fest, (an April documentary film festival). We also play Ballets and Operas from Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Admission to film screenings is $10 at the door. Concert admissions are usually $25 or more and can be purchased on-line at www.cobourgloft.ca (‘Tickets’) or at 905-372-2210
