Having a nice sounding (and in tune) piano has its benefits. Namely, we get to book some of our favourite piano players in Toronto.
Peter Hill has been blessing the room with his performances for a couple of years now. Peter’s unique style lends itself to many types of jazz, and this ability is part of what makes his Duos so special. Usually inviting horn players or guitar players, you’ll be swinging to a groove one moment, and holding back tears over a ballad the next.
Known for his work as an accompanist, the duo format brings Peter’s playing to the forefront, while still leaving room for the back and forth playfulness he has mastered with other jazz greats. He has played with the likes of Chris Whiteley, Jeff Healey, Laura Hubert, and Chris Plock.
