Marc Seguin has been playing blues harmonica for 30 years. He discovered the blues as a teenager in the late 1980s, sneaking into blues jams at clubs in his hometown of Windsor, Ontario. Inspired by masters like Little Walter and Sonny Boy Williamson, Marc began taking blues harmonica lessons from Kelly Hoppe (of Big Sugar fame) and started his first band, singing and playing in the Windsor area.

Marc moved to Ottawa in 1995, where he studied with Larry “the Bird” Mootham and began playing with a variety of musicians and bands, appearing at clubs and festivals and on TV and radio. As a member of two different Ottawa bands, in 2010 and 2014 Marc won competitions to represent Ottawa at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. He currently sings and plays in the blues band The Low Profiles and teaches harmonica.
