Evolution is an acoustic duo featuring Howard Rabkin and Evelynne Ross. Our repertoire spans the decades and includes music from the 50’s to the present as well as original music.
As a group, Evolution thrives on giving the audience a varied selection of acoustic tunes, mixing diverse pop songs from the 60’s to the present, with more challenging tunes, rarely attempted by an acoustic band. “We love a challenge. Often, we’ll take on performing songs in which the original recording includes 2 drummers, 3 guitarists, a horn section and a choir and we still manage to pull it off with a great feel!”
This dynamic act has been performing together for close to 20 years in the Southern Ontario area and bring together a vast repertoire of cover music from the 1950’s to the present, original songs written by Evelynne, along with decades of professional music experience.
